Check One was the artist responsible fo “Bling Laden Ep” on Tracy Recordings not long ago and this release included probably the first trap work made in Spain. Check One is one of Spanish bass scene’s heavyweights and the curator of the fifth chapter of our podcast series: he cooks a tasty cake of future beats, next-gen trap and avantgarde hip-hop.
This is the second chapter of Norberg’s adventures on Tracy recordings. Sir Nenis, the don of scandinavian bass and head honcho at Top Billin, returns with his new nickname to deliver three bass heavy club bombs on a raw Chicago tip, high on raw 808’s and full of deep bouncy basslines. As usual Nenis drops three high octane floor fillers by the name of “Aux 1998”, “Late Nite Sneaky Uncle” and “Van Der Bundy”, adding a bit of hot sauce and some extra deepness on the mix this time, making them sound fresh and delicious. Three great remixes complete this fantastic Ep. Fisky turns “Aux 1998” upside down turning it into a deep bass monster with his personal and tasty russian flavour. Check One opens the rave book of tricks and makes a trap / hardcore exciting fusion with “Van Der Bundy”. Don D Selectah drops some weird science on “Van Der Bundy” too making it sound so out there it’s refreshingly irresistible.
